​Matt has been teaching since 2006 in 8th grade. He has a Bachelors in Biology, but has become very comfortable with chemistry and physics through high quality professional development at the university, including the Physics Master Teacher program and Math and Science Together (MAST).  He has a beautiful wife and two sons, as well as a large menagerie of animals at home, a collection of carnivorous and other odd plants,  and sporadic hobbies of electronics and music.
